Valbella Gourmet Foods & Deli
Established in 1978 by Walter and Leonie von Rotz, Valbella has been a Canmore staple producing European style sausages, hams and air-dried meats for Western Canadian restaurants as well as for use at home. Valbella uses naturally produced Alberta beef, pork, lamb, poultry and game meats and their products do not contain any artificial additives or colouring and are MSG free. By working with the freshest ingredients and seasonings and using natural birch wood smoke, Valbella’s meats ensure an outstanding culinary experience. Their onsite gourmet deli has plenty of treats to tempt from charcuterie platters and quality BBQ meats to prepared foods such as salmon Wellington. There’s also a few tables to enjoy a freshly prepared sandwich for breakfast or lunch. Or pick up some local delicacies for dining al fresco at a beautiful mountain picnic site.
