SandTraps
This restaurant arguably has the best view in Canmore. From the big, sunny three-level patio and through huge windows is a 240° panorama encompassing the Rundle Range, Ha Ling Peak and the Three Sisters, plus the ninth green surrounded by water, and the first and tenth tees. The dining room features a vaulted ceiling, fireplace, trophy displays and photographs of the golf course. Chef Mike Gerlach’s cooking pleases all. “Bring the kids, your grandma and out-of-town visitors you want to impress,” he says. Banquets, weddings and special occasion meals are a specialty.
