Railway Deli
Austrian trained Chefs Roland and Harry Griesser take pride operating their unique and popular restaurant, at the main entrance to Canmore where Railway Avenue and Bow Valley Trail meet. Quality fare from hot meals to fill-in-the-form sandwiches (made by ‘sandwich artists’) are prepared from scratch in this restaurant. Food is ordered at the cafeteria-syle counter, made fresh and served at your table. Canmore locals come here for a quick and tasty lunch to eat-in or take-out, and to buy food from the delicatessen store—meat from the in-house butchery, imported delicacies and European style bread. The outgoing duo also caters at homes and functions—hors d’oeuvres, platters and complete meals.
