Rafter Six Ranch Resort
Built in the 1930s, Mad Trapper Dining Room evokes earlier days of Alberta ranching. Hand carved log beams, western art, antiques and trophy mounts complement windowside and patio views of the ranch and Mt Yamnuska. While the menu includes traditional Alberta beef, wild game and trout offerings, preparations reflect the Five Diamond restaurant training of European chef Patrik Peter. Bearspaw Lounge with fieldstone fireplace offers a pool table, cards and board games (children are welcome until 10 pm), or choose the coffee shop with booth seating located off the dining room.
