The Grizzly Paw
Since opening in 1996, the Canadian Rockies’ original brew pub has been a fixture of Canmore’s dining and nightlife scene. Its wood interior and three fireplaces (upstairs, downstairs and on the patio) exude warmth. Sports show on 8 plasmas, while local musicians perform during Tuesday jams from 9 pm. The sunny, heated patio with mountain view is a great place to meet friends. But the pillar of The Paw’s success is their award-winning micro-brewery. Some dishes even incorporate their own beer-infused BBQ and hot sauces. Visit their shop for off-sales and souvenirs.
