Chef's Studio Japan
In a charming lane off Main Street, alongside an art gallery, is Chef’s Studio Japan. ‘Food is Art’ states the elements theme menu; fire (hot pots), wind (sushi, sashimi), water (saki, Japanese beer, other drinks), earth (combo dishes). Patrons can see the chefs in action in the open-to-view kitchen. Chef Aki’s presentations put a fresh Los Angeles twist on traditional Japanese cuisine. The food tastes as good as it looks. Ambient lighting, relaxed atmosphere and paintings by local artists (available for sale) contribute to the casual-chic dining experience at this Canmore restaurant.
