The only Vietnamese restaurant in the Alberta Rockies opened three years ago, but Victor and Laura Khuu (who hail from Vietnam) have been in Canada for 33 years and have operated Canmore restaurants since 1992. The Khuu’s take pride in preparing authentic and healthy Vietnamese cuisine using little oil, and abundant fresh herbs and greens. There’s a fountain with koi fish and plants, photos of Ho Chi Minh City and a patio with a Rundle Range view. The lounge has a rock fireplace, granite bar, sports on wide screen TVs and happy hour from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Small portions, high prices, and not the fantastic food you’d expect with the first two descriptors. I likely won’t be a repeat customer.
Its on the pricey side, but they do Thai/Viatnamese dishes, like rolls, soups and salads, really well. The servers are nice too.
