The Rose & Crown

Current owners of Canmore’s long-established Rose & Crown create a buzz by offering “traditional English fare with new world flair.” Items such as Guinness-braised lamb shank prove The Rose tempts with more than their famous beer-battered fish and chips. The family friendly restaurant with photos of local landscapes offers a warm atmosphere, while the separate wood-finished tavern-style pub is the spot to meet friends and play pool or darts. Their large, tree-shaded patio by Policeman’s Creek with kids’ play area is a secluded downtown oasis only steps from Main Street.
