Golfers mingle with non-golfers and families at ‘rustically elegant’ Stoney’s, located in Silvertip Resort Timbers Clubhouse. Patrons enjoy the timber frame décor, sports on six big screens, and wrap-around cobblestone patio with amazing fairway, pond and Mount Lady Macdonald views. From the same kitchen as upscale Rustica Steakhouse (one of Canmore’s top restaurants) comes reasonably priced Canadian and pub-style cuisine of uncommon quality and presentation. From the beautiful marble top bar comes signature drinks. Ask about their theme nights.

There was a mix-up in the kitchen while we were there, but the server informed of us of the delay and the manager even came to our table to personally apologize for the trouble. He also discounted our bill, which was decent of him.
When the food came, I was in burger heaven. The beef was so succulent and juicy. It’s not that often that I get out to the mountains, but when I do, I’ll be sure to get on over to Stoney’s again.
